Together with educators of future teachers for a safe school environment

We are happy to announce that our connection with educators of future teachers at all pedagogical faculties and other teacher training faculties in the Czech Republic is now officially supported by the Ministry of Education.

We have entered into long-term collaboration agreements to implement the Graduate Teacher Competency Framework. Specifically, we are focusing on supporting the implementation of Area 3 Safe Learning Environments.

In the working group, we are having a collaborative dialogue on how to best prepare future teachers and other educational personnel in promoting a positive classroom climate and expected behaviors in the school environment. Sharing experiences and materials on the topic of safe environments helps the inter-university transfer of good practice. Linking Czech and international academics with NGOs and practitioners will bring new insights into the importance and breadth of the topic of safe and accepting school environments. The planned outcome of the working group is, among other things, to recommend content and appropriate forms of training on the topics of managing pupil behaviour and creating safe learning environments within the curricula for teachers and other educational staff.

We believe that this collaboration will enrich the study of pedagogical disciplines and promote quality education for future teachers.
